Value Added Support

Value-Added Support is about providing our members with additional tools and information that they may use in their medical practice in order to improve their bottom line.

What are examples of some of the value-added support provided by your Association in order to improve the bottom line?

1. Our legislative advocacy efforts work to ensure that laws will be passed to help and protect your practice, and the patients you serve. These efforts work to impact every aspect of law affecting your practice and patient care.

2. The Medical Practice Forms provided in this website save your office administrators time and effort trying to get the right form to accomplish each task. These forms have been standardized to make the office efficient and effective.

3. Medicare and Medicaid are important sources of revenue for many of our members. It is important to understand how to operate within these programs. The amount of change in these two areas is significant and your Association works to keep each member and their office staff current with up to date information.

4. HIPPA Laws will be changing how the office environment processes and stores information. Office automation will be at a much faster pace in the future. Your Association offers tips and ideas on how to evolve your office environment in order to conform to the HIPPA Laws.

5. The "Vendors of Choice" program introduces members to a variety of prospective vendors that will save money in your medical practice. Many of our members obtain dollar benefits many times more than the cost of their annual membership dues in the association. For example, DCMA members can now receive money back on their worker's compensation premium with a potential dividend of 24.8% of annual premium.
