At the conclusion of the Prevention Medical Errors presentation, the participant will be able to: 1. Recognize and prevent common performance and diagnostic errors. 2. Describe the elements of a root cause analysis. 3. Identify risk management measures designed to prevent high risk medical errors. 4. Meet the requirements set forth by FS 456.013(7).

The objective of the Domestic Violence presentation is to:  1. Inform physicians of statistics regarding the extent of domestic violence in the State of Florida and nationwide.  2. Identify ways to make screening for domestic violence routine while taking a history.  3. Recognize signs of abuse.  4. Provide information on community resources available to victims of domestic violence.


The objective of the Human Trafficking presentation is to: give to the participants the required education to comply with the new act in the state of Florida about the topic.


The objective of the Florida Laws and Rules & Professional Medical Ethics .This session, required for Osteopathic physicians licensed in Florida, is intended to de-mystify Florida’s physician licensure and regulatory process and to highlight the top regulatory and ethical issues currently affecting Florida-licensed physicians.
