Schedule:

8:00 – 8:20- Registration

8:20–8:30 am- Opening Remarks, Rudolph Moise, D.O., DCMA President

8:30–10:30 am- Prevention of Medical Errors presented by The Doctor’s Company

10:30 am–12:30 pm- Domestic Violence presented by Judge Gordon Murray, Sr.

12:30–1:00 pm- Lunch Break

1:00–2:00 pm- Human Trafficking presented by Nardia Haye, Esq., Assistant State Attorney, State Attorney Office         

2:00–3:00 pm- Florida Laws and Rules & Professional and Medical Ethics presented by Jason Winn, Esq.

3:00–5:00 pm- Opioids and Controlled Substance Prescribing presented by Joshua Lenchus, D.O.                   

5:00- Course Evaluation/Adjourn

   

Options to participate will include virtual participation as well as in-person at the DCMA Office. All speakers will appear virtually.
 
The D.O. mandatory credits for Laws and Rules & Controlled Substance Prescribing will be provided by the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association.

 

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint providership of the Dade County Medical Association. The Dade County Medical Association is accredited by the Florida Medical Association to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
